The prominent American heavy-metal band has reported that their new track was encouraged by late “Motorhead” singer Lemmy.
The member of the band has long been great fans of “Motorhead”. Therefore, they have decided to tribute Lemmy on their new upcoming studio album “Hardwired...To Self Destruct”.
In addition, in his recent interview on “Sirius XM” the frontman James Hetfield admitted the following:
“Motorhead” had much do with “Metallica”. Lemmy as an entity - a kind of father figure - assisted us a lot. He was fearless and he was a character. And he was himself. We all respected that so much. He did his own thing to the last breath. No matter who you are, how could you not be moved by that?"
As we reported previously, the title track “Hardwired” was first performed live on August 20, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
“Hardwired...To Self Destruct” should be made public on November 4. 2016.
“Metallica” have already released “Moth into Flame” and “Hardwired” from their forthcoming LP.
The prominent heavy-metal band has also recently stated that they haven’t completely finished their new LP “Hardwired… To Self Destruct”, regardless of the fact it has an official release date in November.
